Emirates Judo Federation launches 2023-2024 sports season with Federation Cup tournament

Today, the Emirates Judo Federation launches its new sports season 2023-2024, by holding the Federation Cup for Judo for cubs, juniors and men, in the Sharjah Sports Club Hall (Al Hazana Branch), in cooperation between the Judo Federation and the Sharjah Sports Council.

The tournament will witness the participation of 245 players, 110 in the youth category, 80 in the junior competitions, and 55 players in the men’s category, all of them from Al-Nasr, Sharjah Sports Club, Sharjah Self-Defense Clubs, Kalba Federation, Fujairah Martial Arts, and Olympic, Tenda and Kima Academies.

The tournament’s organizing committee, headed by Assistant Secretary-General Mohammed Jassim, has completed all arrangements for its launch, and the team’s technical staff will be keen to attend to follow up on the talent produced by the competitions, to support the national teams, as the UAE prepares to host the Arab Championship for national teams for male and female youth, young men and women, and the Arab Club Championship for age groups. Various events in the Emirate of Fujairah, during the period from 16 to 20 November.
