Abu Dhabi, September 11 / WAM / The Emirates Holding ADQ Team, the first professional women’s cycling team in the Emirates, announced the joining of three bikes to the team, in preparation for participating in races and rafts in the 2024 season.
The team signed two new contracts with Teresa Neumanova and Dominika Wlodarczyk, who will join the professional team, in addition to a contract with the young player Federica Venturelli, who will join the continental junior women’s team.
Teresa Neumanova (25 years old) holds the citizenship of the Czech Republic, and has a long record of championships, most notably the Tour of Switzerland and the Vuelta Burgos race.
The second player is Dominika Wlodarczyk (22 years old), from Poland. She has achieved multiple victories and podiums, most notably the Giro di Toscana and the Watersley Challenge.
Also joining the continental team is Federica Venturelli, the world junior champion and winner of the UCI Singles Cup.
In the junior category, Federica won a number of gold and silver medals in various tournaments.
Melissa Moncada, Emirates Holding Team Leader, said: “We are happy to have the three new stars join the team. We see a perfect fit between the skills, determination and passion of Teresa, Domenica and Federica for cycling, and the values and goals of our team.”
She added: “We know that their contributions to the Emirates Holding (ADQ) team will raise the performance of our players in various competitions, and Federica’s joining the UAE continental team will lead its young talents to a higher level in the sport of cycling, by providing guidance and a comprehensive development approach, including “It is in line with our goal to develop and support young female players at all levels.”
