Emirates Golf Federation Announces 57 Tournaments for New Season

Dubai, October 8 / WAM / The Emirates Golf Federation announced the holding of 57 tournaments during its new season, which begins on October 14, with 24 for men, 20 for women, 9 for juniors, and 4 major tournaments, held for the winners and the first to be present in the 2024 Challenge Tour.
The start will be with the Men’s Open Championship on the 14th and 15th of this October, at the Al Zawraa Club in Ajman, in addition to the Junior Open Championship at the Emirates Club in Dubai, with the curtain on the season falling on the 14th of next April, with the “Tower Links Junior” Open Championship.
The Federation decided to open registration for its tournaments electronically.
The General Coordinator of the Golf Association Championships and coach of the national team, Cairon van Rooyen, confirmed that the Golf Association was keen to adopt the structural amendments and the system of competitions and tournaments according to international standards, thus qualifying players to take on the challenges of competing in major tournaments.
