Dubai, September 21 / WAM / The Emirates Football Association closed this evening, Thursday, the first “summer” period for registering and registering players for the 2023-2024 sports season, which began on the third of last July in the first team of professional clubs and the first, second, third and youth division teams.
Club transactions during the first period amounted to 1,715 transactions, and the closing day of the summer transfers witnessed 148 transactions, distributed between 51 substitution transactions, 46 loans, 25 player transfers, 1,520 player registrations, and 73 records.
The professional clubs submitted 198 transactions, which varied between 118 citizen players, 23 resident players, 2 born in the country, and 55 foreign players. In the first-class clubs, the enrollment and registration transactions amounted to 409 transactions, which included 240 citizen players, 16 born in the country, 94 resident players, and 59. Foreign player.
In the second division league competition, 301 transactions were conducted, distributed among 20 national players, 17 born in the country, 89 resident players and 175 foreign players.
The third division league witnessed 402 transactions, including 8 citizen players, 9 citizens born in the country, 36 resident players, and 349 foreign players. 85 registration transactions were conducted in the U-21 Professional League competition, and they varied between 54 citizen players and 3 people born in the country. 94 players were registered in the U-21 Youth League competition, including 68 national players, 4 born in the country, and 22 resident players.
In the U-19 Youth League, clubs submitted 153 transactions, varying between 77 citizen players, 9 UAE-born players, and 67 resident players.
The transfer window is scheduled to begin in the second “winter” registration period, from January 22 to February 23, 2024.
