The Emirates Council for Legal Fatwa clarified that there is nothing wrong with Sharia when children celebrate the night of the middle of Sha’ban, and they go out in the usual way in society, known as “the right of the night.”
And he said, via a tweet on his official account on Twitter: “There is no legal objection to children celebrating the night of the middle of Sha’ban, and their going out in the usual way in society, known as “the right of the night.” There is also no objection to giving them gifts, such as sweets and others, to bring pleasure. They have to.. as long as this is one of the inherited habits that were not mentioned in the true Sharia forbidding them, and the origin in the customs is permissibility.
The Fatwa Council said: The night of the middle of Sha’ban is one of the virtuous nights, in which God bestows pardon and forgiveness on His servants.
And in “Haq Al-Laila”, the houses and streets in the popular neighborhoods and Al-Furjan turn into a carnival with the colors of joy. Houses open their courtyards to receive people and children from various neighborhoods and other residential neighborhoods who find great joy on this occasion, sharing joy, and returning with sweets and memories. The residents open their doors to receive the guests, and the dining table is provided with traditional foods. Places are allocated for playing popular games, which were previously fixed by ropes in trees, and the residents share delicious and delicious traditional foods and baked goods.
