Emirates recently announced that its codeshare cooperation with United Airlines will be further expanded to nine destinations in Mexico. Passengers can now fly to eight new destinations within Mexico, in addition to Mexico City, where Emirates operates flights.
The extensive codeshare network between Emirates and United currently covers numerous U.S. cities and continues to expand. Mexico becomes the first country outside the United States to join the code-share route network.
Codeshare cooperation can provide passengers with flexible travel options and convenient transfer services. Passengers flying on Emirates can transfer at two destinations in the United States – Chicago or Houston, and then continue to leisure destinations in Mexico. Wonderful trip. New destinations in Mexico include: Cancun, Cozumel, Monterrey, Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, San Jose del Cabo, Leon (Guanajuato) and Queretaro.
In addition, this codeshare partnership will allow passengers to enjoy more flexible flight schedules and provide more route options for passengers flying to Mexico with Emirates. Depending on their individual travel plans, passengers can choose to fly to Mexico City on Emirates’ daily flights from Dubai via Barcelona, or book an additional codeshare flight to Mexico City. The expansion of the codeshare partnership also allows passengers departing from nine destinations in Mexico to connect via Chicago or Houston to destinations within Emirates’ global network.
Passengers can purchase tickets to codeshare destinations in Mexico through Emirates’ official website or travel agents, with travel dates starting from September 14. The newly expanded Mexico destination is expected to be popular with Emirates passengers from the Middle East, India and South Africa. The most popular destinations for global travelers departing from Mexico include India, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa and select Southeast Asian destinations.
