Emirates Electronic Sports Federation Announces Participation in Asian Games

Dubai, September 19 / WAM / The Emirates Electronic Sports Federation announced that it will participate in the Asian Games, which will be held in China during the period from September 20 to October 8, with a list of 10 players, in 3 different games.
The list of players includes Ahmed Saeed Al Suwaidi, Ali Al Hammadi, Muhammad Al Banna, Rashid Al Awadi, Fares Al Mazrouei, Khalifa Al Dhaheri, Butti Al Mansouri, Muhammad Al Matroushi, Hareb Al Mandhari, and Ahmed Youssef Al Suwaidi, and they are led by Australian technical director Evan Gabriel and administrator Mahmoud Al Karbi.
The mission is headed by Hamad Qasim, Chairman of the Competitions Committee of the Emirates Electronic Sports Federation.
Saeed Ali Al-Taher, Secretary-General of the Federation, confirmed that the selection of the list came after fully ensuring their readiness to participate, and their obtaining more experience through local, regional and international participation during the last period.
He explained that the federation is working to participate in all forums and tournaments, to support its players and to give them experience, noting that this is the first time that electronic games have been included in the Asian tournament.
