Al-Mutaiwi won second place in the 4 km individual pursuit race after completing the race distance in a time of 4:18.54 minutes, 5 seconds behind Japanese champion Matsuda Shui, who achieved a time of 4:13.74 minutes, and Hong Kong cyclist Pak Hang, who achieved the race, came third. In a time of 4:25.33 minutes.

The President of the Cycling Federation, Mansour Bouasiba, confirmed his happiness with the new achievement achieved by Emirates Cycling through the rising champion, Mohammed Al-Mutaiwi, who proved that he will be one of the best riders in the Emirates in the coming period, which qualified him to be in the Emirates Professional Team, accompanied by the champions Abdullah Al-Hammadi, Abdullah Jassim, Thanks to the professional technical and administrative leadership of the hero Youssef Mirza.

The UAE delegation continues the championship competitions, awaiting the main race for champion Ahmed Al Mansouri, and the Omnium race, through which he seeks to obtain Olympic points, qualifying him to be present in Paris 2024.
