Emirates Bodybuilding and Physics Team Wins 27 Medals at West Asian Championship

The Emirates Bodybuilding and Physics team won 27 medals during its participation in the West Asian Championship, which concluded the day before yesterday in Bahrain. The medals were seven golds, 11 silvers and nine bronzes. The Bahrain national team came first with 280 points, while the UAE national team came second with 279 points, by one point, while the Oman national team came third.

Ahmed Ali Al-Mulla, Ahmed Rustom, Hassan Al-Dhanhani, Khaled Al-Falasi, Thani Al-Hammadi, Ali Al-Naqbi and Sultan Al-Shamsi won the gold medals, while Hassan Al-Dhanhani got a professional card that qualifies him to participate in the future in professional tournaments at the international level.

The silver medal was won by Tariq Mubarak, Jamal Ali, Khaled Al Balushi, Hassan Al Dhanhani, and Ahmed Obaid Al Mulla, in addition to two silver medals won by Thani Al Hammadi, Rashid Al Shamili, Ahmed Al Hammadi, Abdullah Ibrahim, and Abdullah Rustom. The bronze medalists were: Tariq Musa, Essam Al-Ghais, Rashid Al-Muhairi, Abdullah Al-Falasi, Abdulaziz Mubarak, Ahmed Al-Mualla, Faisal Al-Shehhi, Khaled Al-Falasi, and Jassim Al-Harmoudi.
