The new surprise album by American rapper Eminem, after being criticized, was confronted with a story of plagiarism.
A loyal admirer of Alfred Hitchcock, Eminem was inspired by the cover of a project by the director dating from 1958, Alfred Hitchcock Presents Music To Be Murdered By by Jeff Alexander, while the 2 interludes, titled Alfred, sample the voice Hitchcock.
However, the Scottish rapper named Zee The Dungeounous accuses Eminem of plagiarism. According to the latter, Slim Shady would have resumed his song from 2015, also entitled Music To be Murdered By:
“When I heard Hitchcock’s samples, found the same title and the same release date, I started to be afraid. I don’t think he stole my piece. He’s one of my idols and maybe it’s just coincidences. Still, there are so many stories from the richest, most notorious artists who do this stuff … “
