With its rhythmic pop sound and its bright voice, the German-British Singer-Songwriterin Emily Roberts absolute radio potential. Accordingly, their new single “Boys that look like you”, which was released on August 27th, immediately tempts you to dance along – or to a disco evening on the roller-skating rink.
So Roberts celebrates the new pop song at least in the video, in which she dances in the lametta-decorated club between sexy roller girls in the direction of her “crush”. And she flirts with him in the song: “We could go for coffee / I could make you love me / I wanna be the one you’re taking to the party”. Did she make it clear in the end? The line “Hey Baby / This Song is for you” at the beginning of the song at least gives hope and the rest is up to your imagination …
Anyone who rubs their hands at the musician’s loose, fluffy sound, who incidentally like to be humorous as a „Half Brit, half Potato“ can be happy: On September 17th, Emily Roberts will follow up with her new EP “4-Chord-Songs From My Garage”. Better put on your roller skates, watch the video and get in the mood for the new EP!
