This is a part of the history of RB Leipzig that is about to turn! Attacking midfielder Emil Forsberg (32 years old, 21 games and 4 goals in all competitions this season), after nine years with Roten Bullen, will leave the German club from January 1 but will remain in the Red Bull ecosystem.
Across the Atlantic, the Swede will sign with the New York Red Bulls in Major League Soccer until 2026, with an option for an additional year. Forsberg, 71 goals and 324 games with the RBL, was no longer considered a starter by his coach Marco Rose, even if he started each of the six Champions League matches of Leipzig this season.
