Passengers were evacuated at Chopin Airport in the Polish capital, Warsaw, after a report of a “bomb” on board one of the planes, Polish border guard spokesman Dagmar Bielec-Janas told reporters.
“The services at Chopin Airport in Warsaw have received information that an explosive device may be on board one of the planes,” Belec-Janas said.
“The evacuation of passengers is underway,” the border guard spokesman added, explaining that the sappers were already working on board one of the planes.
Airport spokesman Petr Rudski explained that the case involved a Turkish Airlines plane that had flown in from Istanbul.
