Emergency Services Retrieve Body from Garonne River: Possible Identity of Missing Kayaker

The emergency services intervened following a report in the morning, this July 21, at the level of a pier located on the quai des Chartrons in Bordeaux, to fish out a body in the Garonne. Although the body has still not been identified, the police say there is “a good chance” that it is the 73-year-old kayaker, who disappeared on July 19.
