An accident occurred on the A31, this Wednesday, January 12, around 1:45 p.m., at exit no. 36 Talange-Hagondange, in the Luxembourg-Metz direction.

Two light vehicles, a Volvo and a small SUV, as well as two heavy goods vehicles are said to be involved.
One of the two heavy goods vehicles found itself against the flow of traffic, against the central rail.

Traffic is disrupted.
Of the three lanes where the accident took place, two, the left lane and the central lane, according to the prefecture, are still neutralized, to allow clearing. Traffic normally moves in the right lane. Nearly 7 km of slowdown was recorded between Richemont and Talange.
On the opposite axis, in the Metz-Luxembourg direction, parts had been thrown onto the road, forcing motorists to exercise the greatest caution. Nearly 3 km of slowdown had been noted in this direction. Traffic is now flowing normally on this axis.
Another slowdown of more than 1 km had formed on the A30, in the Longwy-Metz direction, near Richemont.
