When visitors want to enter the mall, security officers have been on guard. The officer will ask the needs of prospective visitors.

Residents with the need to buy food or medicine will be allowed in. Officers will then check the equipment and body temperature of prospective visitors.
Entering the mall area, the situation is quiet. In fact, Grand Indonesia Mall is one of the largest malls in Jakarta and is always packed with visitors, especially every weekend.
However, on the first day of emergency PPKM, the passersby disappeared. Tenant Inside the mall, it looks like many are closed.
Amount tenant Open is a drug store, a number of restaurants, to supermarkets. The escalator that helps the mobility of residents inside the mall was temporarily turned off.

Tightening of security at this shopping center will last until 20 July. The government hopes that the ‘sacrifice’ in limiting mobility during this emergency PPKM can contribute to suppressing the spread of the Corona virus in Jakarta, which is currently still relatively high.
For the record, the closure of malls during emergency PPKM is stated in the Minister of Home Affairs Number 15 of 2021 concerning the Enforcement of Restrictions on Emergency Community Activities for Corona Virus Disease 2019 in the Java and Bali Regions. The Minister of Home Affairs was issued on Friday (2/7) yesterday.

The regulation is contained in the third dictum point e of the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 15 of 2021 concerning the Enforcement of Restrictions on Emergency Community Activities for Corona Virus Disease 2019 in the Java and Bali Regions.
Here’s what it sounds like:
“Activities at shopping centers/malls/trading centers are temporarily closed except for access to restaurants, supermarkets, and supermarkets that can be allowed by observing the provisions in the THIRD dictum points c.3 and d.”
