Emergency PPKM, AirAsia stops flights until August hingga

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

airline AirAsia Indonesia announced the temporary suspension of scheduled flight services for domestic and international routes to support efforts to suppress the spread of Covid-19 in accordance with Emergency PPKM.

“All scheduled flights on AirAsia Indonesia’s domestic and international routes will temporarily stop operating from July 6, 2021 to August 6, 2021,” said AirAsia’s management statement, Saturday (3/7).

However, AirAsia will continue to serve charter and cargo flights to support repatriation missions, delivery of goods, and other essential interests by implementing strict health and safety protocols.

Prospective passengers who wish to change flights during this period can convert ticket purchases into a credit account that is valid for up to 730 days or 2 years.

In addition, prospective passengers can change their flight schedule to another date until October 31, 2021. This flight date change is not subject to additional fees.

“Guests can also choose to apply for a refund. These changes and submissions can be made through AVA at airasia.com or support.airasia.com,” the management wrote.

All prospective AirAsia passengers are advised to regularly monitor AirAsia’s travel advisory information available on the super airasia application, airasia.com, and social media.

For further information, prospective passengers can contact the AirAsia Customer Service team, which is available every day from 09.00 to 18.00 WIB at support.airasia.com.
