Emergency investigation of two unauthorized international schools in Seoul

As group infections occurred in unlicensed international schools, such as Daejeon IEM International School and Gwangju TCS International School, related measures were taken.

Seoul’s Education Policy Manager Ko Gyeong-hee attended a daily briefing on Corona 19 in Seoul on this day and said, “We will conduct an emergency investigation during today as there are two unlicensed international schools in Songpa-gu.” We will do it quickly.”

He said, “As a preventive measure to prevent the spread of Corona 19, we plan to jointly inspect other educational facilities of similar types with the office of education and autonomous districts.”

Regarding the report that IM Mission had held admissions sessions around the country, the high education policy manager said, “We are currently grasping the relevant matters.”

The Central Defense Countermeasure Headquarters said that 127 confirmed cases, including students and faculty members, came out at IEM International School on that day, and 24 confirmed cases related to TCS International School have been confirmed so far.
