Six teenagers and a teacher injured by tear gas
Six students and a teacher were lightly injured by tear gas in Rodenkirchen (Lower Saxony). Two youths aged 15 and 17 were handling animal repellent spray in class, police said Thursday. A jet was randomly sprayed into the room. Several students and the teacher later complained of respiratory tract irritation and were taken to hospital in six ambulances. Two doctors from the emergency room were also on duty at the high school in the municipality of Stadland. Police are now investigating suspicion of dangerous personal injury.
