Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – The police in Freiburg stopped the escape of an imprisoned criminal. The 34-year-old man had already fled the correctional facility, as the police announced on Tuesday. Witnesses noticed on Saturday that he had roped out of the window of an outdoor dormitory. However, police officers arrested him a little later and brought him back. The man is serving fraud, it was said.
In the so-called free passage, prisoners can leave the correctional facility during the day and go to work and have to return to the penal system in the evening.
