British singer Emeli Sandé is getting married soon. The musician reports on Wednesday Instagram that her friend Yoana Karemova proposed to her.
“I said yes”, writes the singer. He also shares a photo of the ring, which is inlaid with a red stone.
Sandé, known for hits such as Close to me in Read everything, announced earlier this year that she likes women and is in a relationship with pianist Karemova. “We met through music. I feel happier than ever,” Sandé said at the time.
It is not the first time that the 35-year-old singer has married. In 2012 she married Adam Gouraguine. That marriage lasted a year.
