Embraer will open a new MRO center in the United States

Embraer will open a new maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) center in the United States to support the growing fleet of E-jet aircraft. The new service center will be located in the Aeropuerto Perot Field Alliance (AFW), a Fort Worth, Texas.

The Brazilian manufacturer will begin operations in an existing hangar early in the second quarter of 2025while building a second hangar that should be completed by 2027. With the new facilities, the capacity Embraer to serve E-Jets customers will increase by 53% in the US.

Investment

The investment will reach $70 million and is expected to create approximately 250 new jobs in the aviation sector in Texas. Furthermore, the location of the new MRO in Fort Worth is strategic, since the Aeropuerto Perot Field Alliance serves as an air cargo operations base FedEx y Amazon.

The new MRO service center in the United States will join the global network of Embraerwhich includes 80 authorized centers and 12 own service centers around the world.
