The hangar in Fort Worth will have an investment of 70 million dollars and will generate 250 new jobs
Embraer announced the expansion of its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services network in the United States.
He explained that this growth responds to the growing demand for support for its fleet of E-Jets and will materialize with the opening of a new service center at the Perot Field Alliance airport, located in Fort Worth, Texas.
The company plans to begin operations in an existing hangar at the beginning of the second quarter of 2025, while building a second hangar, scheduled for completion in 2027.
The expansion will be carried out in collaboration with the city of Fort Worth, Denton County and the State of Texas.
With this new facility, Embraer will increase its capacity to serve E-Jets customers in the United States by 53%.
The total investment will amount to $70 million, which will generate approximately 250 new jobs in the aviation sector in Texas.
Carlos Naufel, president and CEO of Embraer Services & Support, expressed his satisfaction with the final approval of this project.
“We are very pleased to receive final approval for this important expansion of our MRO business that supports our continued investment in the US market,” said Naufel.
He also highlighted the company’s historical relationship with Texas and the importance of this new facility for job creation in the region.
The new service center in Fort Worth will join Embraer’s global network, which includes 80 authorized centers and 12 own service centers around the world.
This network is essential to ensure adequate support for the company’s growing fleet of commercial aircraft in the United States.
