Metaquest Pro is a virtual reality headset that does not need to be connected to a PC. The chipset is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 + Gen1. Metaquest Pro was jointly developed by Meta and Qualcomm and is also the first device equipped with Snapdragon XR2 + Gen1. The XR2 + Gen1 is said to have 50% improved performance and 30% thermal performance over the existing XR2 Gen1.
The controller is also Quest 2’s evolved Touch Pro controller, letting you feel virtual reality more intuitively with True Touch haptic feedback and gentle pinch operations.
