Rigobert Song really is cult hero during his playing career. The man who previously played as a defender defended such famous clubs as Liverpool, West Ham, Galatasaray.
He also made up to 137 appearances for Cameroon but is arguably one of the unluckiest players in the World Cup.
Song was the youngest ever red card when, aged 17, he was sent off against Brazil in 1994 and became the first player to be sent off in two World Cup tournaments against Spain in 1998.
His World Cup coaching debut ended in defeat, and now Cameroon have a tough task of qualifying from Group G, which is also home to Brazil and Serbia.
