Rietberg. The fire trucks Neuenkirchen and Rietberg were called again on Saturday afternoon at 5.50 p.m. to the Altehülshorst galvanizing plant on the main street in Varensell. In the roof area, embers from the big fire on Wednesday evening caused a lot of smoke. Around 75 firefighters had been alerted to the district control center in Gütersloh after the emergency call, two of them extinguished the flames under respiratory protection.
