As reported by the Daily Mail, Rogozin told television station Rossiya 24 yesterday that the country will not continue its joint venture with its international cooperation partner on the ISS. He immediately confirmed the decision to withdraw had been made.

He added that Roscosmos did not have to give an exact date for the withdrawal, but that Russia’s space program would comply with the stipulated one-year notice.
“The decision has been made and we don’t need to talk about it openly.
“We will also continue cooperation on the ISS according to the time frame set by the Russian government, at least until 2024,” he said.
Earlier this month, Rogozin had posted a statement on Twitter condemning Western sanctions against Russia related to its space program amid the invasion of Ukraine.
“I believe that relations between partners on the ISS and other joint projects will be restored if all sanctions are lifted,” Rogozin said.
Space is the only remaining cooperation between Moscow and the West today.
