With the support of the waste management department of the District Office, WABE collects well-preserved items that are still functional and can be reused. They can be returned to the WABE collection vehicle on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The collection takes place on the premises of the concrete plant in Elzach, because there is more space there than in the recycling yard and the distance rules can be adhered to. The deliverers are asked to keep a distance of 1.5 meters and to wear a mouth and nose cover.

We are looking for well-preserved everyday objects such as crockery and cutlery, vases and decorative items, tablecloths and bed linen, functional kitchen appliances and electrical appliances as well as toys of all kinds. However, only items that can be resold later can be accepted. The WABE employees will provide specific information on which items are currently in demand or for which there is no use before the meeting (Ms. Eichele and Ms. Ganter, phone 07681 47 40 556).

Well-preserved, used items can be purchased at any time and by anyone interested in the second-hand department store “Hin und weg” at WABE, Damenstrasse 2 in Waldkirch. Department store opening times: Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Further information at www.wabe-waldkirch.de.
