Elvis Presley Returns to the Stage in London 2024 with AI Technology

Elvis Presley returns to the stage in London in 2024 via artificial intelligence

Rock and roll legend Elvis Presley will return to the stage at the end of 2024 in London in the form of a 3D model, in a show organized using artificial intelligence, organizers announced Thursday.

In “Elvis Evolution,” the King of Rock and Roll will perform his biggest hits, such as “Suspicious Minds,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Hound Dog,” on stage in a mock-up format, created using thousands of video clips from Concerts or photos taken by people close to the singer.

Thanks to artificial intelligence technology, it was possible to develop an “incredibly authentic version of Elvis,” said Andrew McGuinness, CEO of Layard Realty, which is behind the project.

This British company spoke of a “multi-million pound agreement” with Authentic Brands Group, which manages the rights to Elvis’ legacy, in order to access this archive and organize shows in various parts of the world.

The first shows will take place in November 2024 in the British capital, before further shows are expected so far in Las Vegas, Berlin and Tokyo.

Before Elvis, Bophouse Entertainment developed a London show for the Swedish band ABBA, in which the four band members were represented by digital avatars. Due to its success, the offer was extended and the Swedish company announced the launch of a new offer with avatars of musicians from the rock band Kiss.

The legacy of Elvis Presley, who achieved his glory between 1950 and 1970, is still strongly present. Decades after his death, the international rock icon, who would have been 89 years old this year if he were alive, became the subject of a recent biographical film entitled “Elvis” directed by Baz Luhrmann (2022).

Another film by Sofia Coppola, titled “Priscilla,” is currently being shown in theaters in some countries, inspired by the book of his wife, Priscilla Presley, who remained in the shadow of the rock singer.
