Elton John will release a new collection of his music on November 13th. The eight CDs Jewel Box contains previously unreleased material and a hundred-page book, he announces on Thursday Twitter On.
“It was great pleasure for me to participate in the Jewel Box to dive back into every period of my career. I always want to go ahead and look ahead, but it was great to look back during the lockdown and gather these beautiful moments together, ”said John.
The collection consists of sixty previously unreleased songs from different phases of his career. These songs that didn’t make it to his earlier records are being bundled for the first time. John also comments on the demos and b-sides that come along.
There is also a compilation album with the hits that come by Me, the singer’s autobiography released last year. This biography was made into a film as Rocketman starring actor Taron Egerton.
John released thirty studio albums in his career. The most recent album, Wonderful Crazy Night, appeared in 2016.
