Elton John (75) is ready to go on tour again. That says the British ‘Rocket man’ singer on his Instagram page.

He has been working on his ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour for a while, since 2018. A farewell tour around the world, including stops in the Antwerp Sportpaleis. Only he had to move his concerts like all artists because of corona. Last year he started the tour again, but had to postpone a whole series of concerts after a fall. It went so far that he had to go under the knife, and had to move a lot of concerts to 2023. At the beginning of this year, a new setback came: the singer was hit by corona himself.
But now he’s back on top of it all. “After a quiet break at home, I’m ready to hit the road again with my Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour!” it sounds enthusiastic on Instagram.

He will have to wait another year for his passage in Antwerp. Elton John can be seen in the Sportpaleis on 26 and 27 May. And there are still tickets for sale.
Earlier this week, he had some good news to report. The documentary Goodbye Yellow Brick Road: The final Elton John performance and the years that made his legend will be shown on Disney+. It contains some of his most memorable performances on his favorite stage and even images that he himself has never seen before, he says. (eadp)
