International star Elton John won the first Emmy Award in his career in the 75th edition of the ceremony held at the Peacock Theater.
Accordingly, the star entered the EGOT Club, becoming the 19th person in Hollywood to collect 4 of the most important awards in the world.

The word EGOT symbolizes the star or star who was able to win four major awards in different fields, which are the Emmy Award for achievements in television, the Grammy Award for achievements in music, the Academy Award for achievements in cinema, and finally the Tony Award for achievements in theatre.
Elton John wins an Emmy Award
At the ceremony, the star won the award for Best Live Variety Series for his Farewell From Dodger Stadium (Disney+) concert, which he competed with Chris Rock’s “Selective Outrage” and the Oscars, in addition to the Super Bowl and the 75th Annual Tony Awards.
But the star did not receive the award himself, as he was absent from the ceremony, so Ben Winston took his place to receive the award on his behalf.

Elton John won two Oscars in his career for Best Original Song, “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from “The Lion King” in 1994; and “I’m Gonna Love Me Again” from “Rocketman” in 2019.
He also won a Tony Award for Best Original Song for a Stage Play for “Aida” in 2000.
While he won the Grammy Award five times for the following songs: That’s What Friends Are For in 1987, Basque in 1992, Can You Feel the Love Tonight in 1995, in addition to Candle in the Wind in 1998 and Aida in 2001.
