If you try to download a movie from a pirated site in the satellite internet service of SpaceX – Starlink, you will receive a warning from the company asking you to stop, PCmag reports.
The satellite internet service is already used by a number of users, and one of them has decided to conduct an experiment. Reddit’s Substrate-97 subscriber has decided to see if he can download movies from pirated sites.
Elon Musk’s service promises extremely fast speeds similar to those of 5G. However, the withdrawal is not possible – Substrate-97 immediately received a notification advising him to stop withdrawing.
“We urge you to refrain from illegally downloading copyrighted content while using your Starlink service“, reads the message that appears to each subscriber of the Musk service.

“Downloading copyrighted material without a license may result in the suspension or termination of your service and put you at risk of legal action by the content owner.“, added Starlink in its announcement.
The report also revealed that Starlink was trying to stop piracy, like other terrestrial ISPs in countries such as the United States and Germany.
Experts add that the use of VPN should make it possible to pirate content. According to Substrate-97, downloading torrents is also not a problem.
