Bolsonaro and Musk met to discuss rural internet connectivity and monitoring Amazon. The meeting came at a sensitive time for both.
Bolsonaro faces an uphill battle for re-election in October, and has become increasingly isolated on the global stage. Musk was accused on Thursday of sexual harassment in a news report, which he later denied.
