Little surprise at Twitter. Having just become the first shareholder of the social network by taking a 9.2% stake in the capital of the company for nearly 3 billion dollars, Elon Musk has finally given up sitting on the board of directors of Twitter. “Elon’s arrival on the board was to become officially effective on April 9, but Elon made it known that same morning that he was no longer joining the board”, said Parag Agrawal, general manager of the microblogging site, in a message to Twitter staff and shared on the platform. And to add: “I believe it’s for the best.”
Elon has decided not to join our board. I sent a brief note to the company, sharing with you all here. pic.twitter.com/lfrXACavvk
