American billionaire Elon Musk supported the opinion of entrepreneur David Sachs, who criticized Washington’s policy towards Ukraine.
Sachs published a post on the social network X, where he recalled that last year the United States allocated more than $100 billion to Kyiv, arguing that this would help carry out a successful counter-offensive against Russia. As a result, the front line practically did not budge, while Russia occupied territories.
“Now the District of Columbia (where the capital is Washington) is saying that another $60 billion will do this,” Sachs said, noting that only a “fool” would believe this.
“There are a lot of fools out there,” Musk wrote under the entrepreneur’s post.
Last week the President Joe Biden made a televised address to the nation in connection with the situation in Ukraine and Israel. In his speech, he announced a new package of military assistance to both countries. On Friday, a formal presidential request to Congress followed, requesting $14.3 billion in aid for Israel and more than $60 billion for Ukraine.
