#The futuristic figure of Pretoria entrepreneur Elon Musk today embodies the idea of success beyond reason. The mega-billionaire’s rapid rise is a potent antidote to pessimism, a viagra for the imagination, a powerful motivation to “move your ass”, jump off the couch and go into action. Musk is especially inspiring to millions of young men who see in him an extreme sublimation of the ancient “drive” for creation, achievement and development. That prehistoric evolutionary “software” brought our ancestors out of the savannas and caves and turned them into creators of civilizations.
One of Elon’s most famous lines reads:
If you don’t create things, there will be no things!
The richest man on the planet makes cars and rockets, satellites and jokes, children and dollars. Many, many dollars. His fortune is estimated at a quarter of a trillion. Yes, a trillion tons. Without embossed abdominal muscles, a back like a barn gate and the proportions of Apollo, Elon is a modern testosterone totem, a technological remake of the mythological titan Atlas, produced by a strange encounter between the nerd culture of counting and assembling gadgets. and the colonizing Western spirit of conquering the unknown and achieving the impossible.
Musk is the world’s new male ideal, but his inhuman success also inspires too much deification. Jokes about Elon’s fans as supreme virtuosos of the “art of kissing ass” spread like wildfire. Skeptics and critics of the businessman, who is compared to the comic book superhero “Iron Man”, have a radically different story about him. To them, he is a manipulator and a Twitter troll. They explain his achievements as a product of complex fraud, debt and government subsidies, and his start as a result of a “white privilege” in the family of a rich man and a model. His admirers have responded appropriately to racial and class criticism, calling him “the most successful African-American in the world.”

His first years in Pretoria, South Africa are already history. From a young age he was passionate about technology, at the age of 12 he started writing computer programs and video game codes, and before the age of 30 he was a multimillionaire with several successful companies behind him. The school introvert, harassed by others, becomes the dominant alpha male. Elon embraced life at the top of the food chain, began dating models, singers and actresses.

He has eight children and escaped dry and untouched by a juicy affair with Amber Heard, which nearly ruined Johnny Depp’s life and career.
And a few days ago he took his mother May Musk to the lavish Met Gala and posed for photographers with idiotic grimaces. Because of such feats, Elon further rose in the eyes of men as an example to follow and an ideal of behavior.
Today, Musk wants to colonize Mars, and a few years ago he made the most epic car advertising with a historic marketing stunt, in which he brought together his two top brands by launching a Tesla into space with one of his Falcon Heavy rockets.

The view was surreal and futuristic and struck our imagination – the car, “driven” by the Starman mannequin, traveled to space infinity as in a Kubrick movie. Our blue planet was shrinking and shrinking, and Musk’s reputation grew as Tesla’s market capitalization reached just over a trillion dollars at one point.

Half a century after his birth in South Africa, this mega tycoon, media mogul, inventor, innovator, investor, industrial designer and internet joker divides his time between various technological endeavors.
Tesla cars, Starlink satellites, SpaceX space machines, and now Twitter media dramas.
Weeks ago, Musk shocked the world by buying $ 44 billion on social media and announced that he would restore freedom of speech there. This includes the banned by the previous leadership account of former US President Donald Trump. Elon’s aggressive takeover with spectacular speed and impressive scope has worried many influential activists about censorship and regulation of expression.

Journalists and politicians branded Elon as a “threat to democracy.”
Defamatory articles flooded the biggest and richest media.

Musk wasn’t particularly worried. He even continued to joke with other mega-billionaires Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates. Elon posted a funny comparison between a photo of Bill Gates and the new absurd emoji with “pregnant man” on Twitter, which he recently bought with more than 92 million followers, with the comment:
“If you need something to kill your erection.”

This is the other factor in turning Musk into a global male ideal: humor and open mockery of elites, of which he is a key part. Elon is the only mega-billionaire who openly stands behind the cause of free speech and sharply criticizes most official stories about the state of the world and society. We are not talking about David against Goliath, but rather about Goliath against a whole tribe of Goliaths. Musk’s story is not the archetypal story of the little man against the system. Quite the opposite – Elon already looks too big to be crushed by the system. He himself wants to be a system. And so far he is achieving it. The spectacle continues, the Twitter deal is not yet finalized and epic clashes are looming on the horizon.
Millions of young men have already sided with them and are united in their desire to see Musk win.
