Elon Musk, one of the richest people in the world today with thousands of trillions of dollars, may already feel full living in super-luxury houses. Currently he decided to live in a small rented house, it may be called a tenement house.
Musk said he was happy to live there. “My main residence is literally a $50,000 house in Boca Chica, which I rented from SpaceX. This house is awesome,” he recently wrote on Twitter.
The house in Texas is really small, like a box, created by a startup called Boxabl as an inexpensive, modular living solution. Its size is about 6 by 6 meters. Incidentally, the location is close to the SpaceX research center. Possibly, it was SpaceX who rented it as a residence for employees and apparently also the CEO.
Furthermore, Musk stated that he currently only has one home in the Bay Area, California. That’s likely where her lover and children live.
“The only house I own is in the Bay Area. If I sell it, the house may not be of much use, unless it is bought by a large family, which may one day,” wrote Elon Musk.
Not long ago, Musk did admit that he wanted to sell his luxury homes. Earlier this year, he sold at once three units of luxury homes located in the elite area of Bel Air in California. He had reached a sales agreement with the buyer ahead of Christmas yesterday.
Musk uploaded a tease last May that said he wanted to sell almost all of his property and would not own a home. The reason? Because he wants to seek freedom.
“I sold almost all physical ownership. Won’t have a home,” tweeted Elon Musk at that time. At that time, he also revealed plans to move from California to Texas, a state that does not impose personal income taxes.
