Elon Musk is shocking with numbers, no producer has a chance

Tesla CEO assumes that Tesla Giga Berlin in Grünheide near Berlin will produce at least over half a million electric cars annually.

One body every 45 seconds means:

  • 80 per hour
  • 1920 a day
  • 13,440 per week
  • 57,600 per month
  • nearly 700,000 a year

If Tesla produced and sold from 20 thousand. up to 40 thousand copies of the Y model monthly, it has a chance to be the best-selling car in Europe. The question is whether Model Y will be good and inexpensive enough?

For now, it is not known whether the first batch of the Model Y produced in Germany will receive cylindrical 2170 cells or cylindrical 4680 cells and a structured battery.
