Elon Musk re-established the former US president’s Twitter account at dawn this Sunday Donald Trump, after submitting it to a vote on the social network. The profile of the ultra-conservative leader had been suspended since January 2021, when after the assault on White House the former owners of the social network vetoed their posts indefinitely as they understood that there was a clear risk that they would “incite violence”. Now the richest man in the world, according to Forbes magazine, has restored Trump’s account, just as he anticipated his intention to him shortly after buying the platform. However, the former president has already announced that he will not return to Twitter.
Musk launched a poll via Twitter in which a total of 15 million users voted for 24 hours. 51.8% of them voted in favor of restoring the account of former US president and new presidential candidate Donald Trump. “The people have spoken. Trump will be restored”wrote the billionaire and also owner of Tesla. Moss he accompanied his message with the Latin expression “Voice of the people, voice of God”which would be translated as “the voice of the people is the voice of God”.
People have spoken.
Trump will be reinstated.
