San Francisco – According to a media report, Elon Musk plans to cut more than half of Twitter’s 7,000 jobs. About 3,700 workers will be laid off, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter. Musk will notify affected employees on Friday. The new owner of the short message service also expects all employees, with a few exceptions, to return to work in the office. This runs counter to Twitter’s current policy, which allows employees to work from anywhere.
