The Wealthy American Businessman Elon Musk laughed at the boss ofAmazon thanks to a publication on the social network of the blue bird. “You have been judged”, launched the head of SpaceX following a judgment that was rendered to the detriment of the space society Blue Origin. Indeed, the Federal Claims Court of the United States dismissed Jeff Bezos following a complaint filed against the US space agency.
A $ 2.9 billion contract
He was protesting against the $ 2.9 billion contract, which was awarded in April to SpaceX. This collaboration was in fact part of the Nasa project which aims to bring humans back to the Moon by 2024. SpaceX should indeed build the Starship rocket for the mission Artemis. For the company led by Jeff Bezos the Nasa “Ignored the main flight safety requirements” by granting to SpaceX the contract.
NASA is relaunching the project soon
But the court decision calls into question this complaint from the space company Blue Origin and at the same time relaunching the space project. A statement from NASA announced in particular that the project which had been suspended because of the trial would resume. Note that SpaceX’s Starship rocket had already performed successful flight tests and aims to perform the very first orbital test later this month.
