VIVA – Billionaire and founder of the space company SpaceX, Elon Musk, argues technology metaverse not attractive.
“Right now I can’t see any interesting metaverse situations,” he said The Verge, Friday, December 24, 2021.
Musk admits he may be too old to understand technological developments, as in 1995 when not everyone understood the internet.
He, who in this case declared himself as one who understood the potential of the internet 26 years ago.
His criticism of the metaverse is that Elon Musk hasn’t come up with an interesting use case for the technology.
“I’m not sure someone wants to put a screen on their face every day, not going anywhere. It just feels impossible,” he said.
Metaverse technology has been much discussed this year since Facebook Inc changed their name to Meta Inc because they wanted to develop the metaverse platform.
