Of course everyone will say that they want that feature because everyone always wants more features. They know that on Twitter too. It is not a technical limitation but a conscious choice not to do so, whatever the exact reason.

Musk therefore wants to go against a decision that the company has made earlier. However, with 9.2% of the shares, he cannot just kill his sentence. So he seems to be choosing to incite Twitter users against the other directors. They even find it necessary to warn the public. Happy relationship.

As a co-owner and co-board member, he is of course allowed to have an opinion and influence the company. Every company in the world has structures for this and they really don’t run through the media. You don’t let user surveys be done because a driver puts an unverifiable yes/no poll on the internet.
The only reason to do it this way is that Musk did not immediately get his way and is now trying to get his way in a different way against the wishes of his fellow drivers/owners. A downright clumsy way of doing things.
