Digital pioneer Elon Musk’s fortune is growing at a record pace. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, the electric car and space pioneer is now the fourth richest person in the world after a price gain.
A full course plus the TeslaShare of 11 percent Elon Musk at one stroke 7.8 billion US dollars richer and thus made the fourth wealthiest person in the world.
The man behind the electric car brand Tesla overtook Bernhard Arnault – the French entrepreneur slipped to fifth place with a fortune of 84.6 billion US dollars, Musk is richer by a small amount of 200 million dollars with 84.8 billion US dollars, as shown in the current Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
The top 3 is currently out of reach for Musk
To get into the top 3, Musk still has to make significant gains. The first places have been secured by three digital pioneers: The third place is taken by the Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. His fortune is estimated at $ 99.08 billion.
The Microsoft founder and philanthropist Bill Gates is even a good 34 billion dollars ahead of fourth-placed Elon Musk with 121 billion US dollars.
Even more significant – namely over 103 billion US dollars – is the difference to the richest man in the world. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has assets of around $ 188 billion, according to the Billionaires Index.
