Elon Musk Identifies Woman as Potential Replacement CEO of Twitter

Twitter owner Elon Musk Thursday he said that he has identified the person who will replace him as CEO of Twitter: he did not name names, but used a female pronoun to indicate it, implying that it will probably be a woman. The person in question will start working in about a month and a half. Musk specified that he will maintain the role of executive president and Chief Technology Officer, or the person who takes care of making decisions on the technological aspects of a company’s product.

In December, Musk asked in a public poll on his profile whether he should step down as head of Twitter. Most users had voted in favor of his resignation, but many had speculated that he would only resign as CEO, as he had repeatedly hinted, while retaining ownership of the company. In April the entrepreneur he then saidprobably jokingly, that he named his dog CEO of Twitter.
