Death of the firstborn
What Elon Musk remembers most about his first child is that he held him in his arms when he was taking his last breath in his tenth week. “Nevada Alexander,” Musk’s firstborn with his first wife, Canadian writer Justine Wilson, died of sudden infant death syndrome in 2002. In order to heal the pain that befell them, Musk and Wilson, who were married in 2000, decided to use artificial insemination (IVF) technology to have more children.
