American entrepreneur Elon Musk said on the social network X that he trusts Vivek Ramaswamy, a contender for the presidency of the United States from the Republican Party.
“Yes,” Musk replied to a question asked on the social network with the wording “Do you trust Vivek Ramaswamy?”
The politician, in turn, shared Musk’s positive comment about himself on his page.
Previously, Ramaswami said that he intends to withdraw the United States from NATO if he wins the 2024 presidential elections. As Politico noted, if Ramaswamy or another politician who shares his views on the North Atlantic Alliance wins, NATO’s days “will be numbered.”
According to a survey by Reuters and the international research company Ipsos, almost half of voters in the internal Republican primaries plan to vote for the former US leader Donald Trump. The former president is the preferred candidate for 49% of respondents who identified themselves as Republican supporters. Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy was supported by 4% of the survey participants, while no other candidate received more than 2%.
The US presidential election is scheduled for November 5, 2024. It is expected that if Donald Trump is nominated from the Republican Party, he will be opposed by the current head of state Joe Biden. At the same time, Trump, as the results of sociological research show, can win.
