He made this statement in response to a warning from a user under the pseudonym DogeDesigner that the XAI token is not related to Musk and his AI startup xAI.
“To be clear, none of my companies will ever create a crypto token,” the billionaire wrote.
In April media reported about Musk’s intention to create an AI startup to compete with OpenAI. In July he launched xAI.
The company’s website says it is not part of X Corp but will work closely with Twitter, Tesla and other corporations to “make progress on its mission.”
Recall that in August Musk said that social network X would never release native tokens.
That same month, billionaire-founded biotech Neuralink raised $280 million in a Series D funding round.
