Elon Musk brags that he is ready to sell Tesla shares to overcome world hunger, but these are the conditions

NEW YORK The richest man in the world, Elon Musk, has vowed to sell Tesla shares and donate the proceeds to fight world hunger. However, Musk has conditions that must be met.

The condition is that the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) can prove that $8 billion will actually solve world hunger.

“If WFP can explain in this Twitter thread exactly how $6 billion will tackle world hunger, I’ll sell Tesla shares right now and do it,” Musk tweeted Sunday (10/31/2021).

“$6 billion will not solve world hunger, but will prevent geopolitical instability, mass migration, and save 42 million people on the brink of starvation. An unprecedented crisis and a perfect storm due to Covid/conflict/climate crisis,” replied WFP Head David Beasley.

“With your help, we can bring hope, build stability and change the future,” he said.

Beasley also assured Musk that, “WFP has systems in place for transparency and open source accounting. He pointed out the WFP team could work together to review the issue and was “absolutely confident about it.”
